Good childcare isn't expensive...it's priceless!

Welcome to Small Wonders Family Child Care! I am an experienced and licensed daycare provider located in Lilburn, a small city in Gwinnett County, Georgia, convenient to Stone Mountain, Lawrenceville, Duluth, and Tucker. I am CPR certified, registered with the state, and a participant in the USDA Food Program.

I am also working toward achieving national accreditation via a scholarship awarded by the National Association for Family Child Care, which means I log many more hours of training than are required by state regulations. My goal is to provide a safe and happy place for children where they can learn and grow at their own pace, physically, emotionally, intellectually, and socially.

I am married with two children of my own, ages 15 and 20, have lived in the metro Atlanta area for over twenty nine years, and have worked as a preschool teacher, art teacher, and family daycare provider over the past decade. I am fortunate to be able to combine my love of children and interest in early childhood development in a job that is both challenging and rewarding. I consider it an honor to be entrusted with your child, and it's a responsibility that I take seriously. Please explore this site to learn more about Small Wonders Family Child Care. Each second we live is a new and unique moment of the universe, a moment that will never be again...and what do we teach our children? We teach them that two and two make four, and that Paris is the capital of France.

When will we also teach them what they are?

We should say to each of them: Do you know what you are? You are a marvel. You are unique. In all the years that have passed, there has never been another child like you.

You may become a Shakespeare, a Michelangelo, a Beethoven. You have the capacity for anything. Yes, you are a marvel. And when you grow up, can you then harm another who is, like you, a marvel?

You must work - we must all work - to make the world worthy of it's children.
